Grandson and Granddog Time

John and I had a special treat this weekend, a visit from our grandson, Gage Wann, and our sweet granddog, Zelda.  We haven’t seen them in some time due to Covid, and were so glad to have some time together.  

Although our time together was short, we did get in a lovely walk through our lush, green pastures with the dogs,

as well as some good porch sitting and time at the shooting range.  We had to shoo the cows away more than once.  Contrary to what you might expect, the sounds of gunfire didn’t scare them.  It just made them curious.  We all got in some target practice, though, and Gage shot exceptionally well with my handgun as well as his new rifle.

We look forward to their next visit and hope we don’t have to wait too long.
